Dataset configuration controls aspects of which data is displayed, how duplicates are detected and what happens when duplicates are merged. To configure Importr datasets, the configuration is accessible from the Importr dashboard and within the review panel only after you have selected data to upload.

 



The dataset dialogue consists of 5 tabs.

 

General

 

This section is used to name the dataset, select a Salesforce object to import to, selecting records or datasets to compare the data against and the default time zone that the records are being imported to. 

 

 

Fields

 

This section is used to select the fields that will be displayed to the user in the review dialog.


 

Update Rule

 

This section allows you to specify rules used to select field values to set when updating a matched Salesforce record. You can learn more about Field Value Update Rules by following this link.

 

 

Matching Model

 

This section allows you to specify the matching model used to detect duplicates. You can learn more about machine learning models by following this link.

 

 

Transform


This section allows you to specify which fields are eligible to run any of the transform rules that you defined. You can learn more about Transform Rules by following this link.



Once saved, your new dataset will be created, and records will be grouped into two sections - Unmatched records and matched records.

 

Records can be reviewed, imported and enriched manually or en-mass using Mass Import and Mass Update function.
